Prices

4 answers
Are your prices including VAT?

No. Every price excludes Finnish VAT at 25.5 %. Businesses in other EU countries with a valid VAT number are usually invoiced under the reverse charge, and customers outside the EU usually pay no Finnish VAT. Confirm the treatment for your own business with your accountant.

What is your hourly rate?

€95 an hour, excluding VAT, for work outside a fixed quote: small changes, extra revision rounds, fixes and change requests. Out-of-hours or emergency work is +50 %, so €142.50 an hour. Hours are agreed with you in writing before I start, never added afterwards.

PricingTerms: revisions and changes

Why from-prices instead of exact prices?

Because scope varies. A from-price is the smallest sensible version of each service. Describe your project and you get a written fixed-price quote within one working day, split into parts so you can add or drop items. The price in the accepted quote is the price you pay.

Build a rough estimate

Do you work on monthly retainers?

Yes, for ongoing work. SEO, ads management, care plans and server care are billed at the start of each month. There is no long contract; monthly services end with 30 days notice. For SEO a three-month start is recommended, because changes take weeks to show in search results.

Monthly prices

Timelines

3 answers
How long does a website take?

A small business site usually takes two to three weeks from the agreed brief, and a multilingual site four to six weeks. The clock starts when content and access are in place. Your written quote names the delivery date and lists what I need from you before it.

Business website development

How long does an online store take?

A store with a customised theme, up to a few hundred products and standard payments and shipping usually takes four to six weeks. Large catalogues, migrations and new Magento stores take longer and are planned in phases, each with its own date in the quote.

Ecommerce development

How fast do you reply?

Within one working day: Monday to Friday, Finnish time, excluding Finnish public holidays. The first reply either asks for what is missing or already includes a written fixed price and a suggested timeline. Urgent work outside those hours is possible by arrangement at the out-of-hours rate.

Platforms

3 answers
Which platforms do you build on?

WordPress for business sites; Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento and OpenCart for online stores; hand-coded pages or a custom web app where speed or a special workflow matters most. The choice follows your catalogue, budget and who will update the site, not my preference.

Compare store platformsCustom web development

Can you work on a site someone else built?

Yes. I start with a short audit of the code, plugins, hosting and access, then quote the fixes or a care plan. If repairing the site would cost more than rebuilding it, I say so in writing and price both options so you can choose.

Website care plans

Can I edit the site myself afterwards?

Yes. WordPress and the store platforms give you an editor for pages, products and posts, and the handover includes a walkthrough of the tasks you will do yourself. If you prefer not to touch it, a care plan from €49 a month covers updates, backups and small edits.

Ad accounts

4 answers
Who pays the ad spend?

You do, directly to Google, Microsoft, Meta or TikTok, from your own account and payment method. Ad spend is never part of my fee and never passes through me. Management is billed separately each month, from €390 for Google Ads Starter, one channel.

Paid adsGoogle Ads management

Do you need my password?

No. You add me as a user in your ad accounts, Google Analytics and Tag Manager, with the access level the job needs. You keep the admin rights and can remove me at any time. Sharing your own password is not needed and not recommended.

Google Ads management

What tracking do you set up?

GA4 and Google Tag Manager with Consent Mode v2, conversion tracking for each ad platform and, where it pays off, server-side tagging. Tags wait for the visitor's consent before they run. Set-up starts from €490 as a one-off and is often the first job before any campaign changes.

GA4, GTM and server-side tracking

Is there a minimum contract for ads?

No long contract. Ads management is monthly and ends with 30 days notice. The Google Ads set-up fee of €390 is waived if you commit to three months, because the first weeks are mostly learning and tuning. You can pause campaigns at any time from your own account.

Ownership

3 answers
Do I own my website and ad accounts?

Yes. Your domain, hosting, website, store, Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft and TikTok accounts, Analytics and Tag Manager are opened in your name or stay in your name. I work inside them with my own user access, which you can remove at any time.

Terms: ownership

Who owns the code, designs and files?

You do, once the project is paid in full. That covers the code and theme work written for you, design files and, for 3D projects, the .blend source. Third-party licences such as premium plugins or fonts stay under their own terms and are bought in your name.

Terms: ownership and licences

What happens if we stop working together?

You keep everything: domain, hosting, accounts, content and paid-for files. I hand over any admin access, remove my own users when you ask and send a short note of what is set up where. Monthly services end with 30 days notice and there is no exit fee.

Markets and payment

3 answers
Which countries do you work with?

Finland, the UK, the US, Canada and the rest of the EU, remotely, in English or Finnish. Calls go in the overlap between our working hours; with the US East Coast that is usually the late afternoon, Finnish time. Each market has its own page with local details.

How do payments work?

Projects are invoiced 50 % at the start and 50 % at delivery; monthly services at the start of each month. Invoices are due 14 days net. Quotes and invoices are in euros; GBP, USD or CAD invoicing is possible only if it is confirmed in your quote. owner to confirm

Can you add payments to my online store?

Yes: Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, Worldpay and Finnish bank and mobile methods through a Finnish provider. Pikselipolku does not process money or hold card data; you contract directly with the provider and card data stays with them. Work on an existing store starts from €390.

4 answers
Which servers do you look after?

Linux servers with cPanel/WHM, LiteSpeed or Nginx, PHP, MySQL or MariaDB and Redis, on a VPS or dedicated server from your host. A health check starts from €290 as a written report; the managed care plan is €149 per server per month. Root access stays yours.

Do you offer 24/7 monitoring?

No. Server work happens in Finnish working hours, with response times agreed in writing in each care plan. Urgent work outside those hours is possible by arrangement at +50 %. If you need round-the-clock cover, I will tell you so and help you choose a provider that offers it.

Managed server care plan

Can you move my sites to a new server?

Yes, from €390 per site; whole servers are quoted separately. Files, databases, email and DNS settings are copied and tested on the new server first, then switched in a short, planned cut-over. The old server stays untouched until you confirm that everything works.

Server and hosting migration

Can you clean a hacked WordPress site?

Yes, from €249 per site. I remove the infection, close the hole it came through, rotate passwords and keys and check for reinfection. Clean-ups started out of hours are billed at 1.5 times the price. A tested backup afterwards makes any next incident far cheaper to recover from.

What does a mobile app cost?

A clickable prototype starts from €1,900 and is credited against the build. A simple app starts from €7,900, a cross-platform MVP for iOS and Android from €14,900, and native iOS and Android apps from €29,000. These are proposed prices; your written quote sets the final figure. owner to confirm

Cross-platform or native?

Cross-platform (Flutter or React Native) when you need iOS and Android on one budget and the app is mostly forms, lists and accounts. Native Swift or Kotlin when you rely on heavy device features, top performance or platform-specific design. Discovery ends with a written recommendation for your case.

Flutter and React NativeNative iOSNative Android

Who pays the app store fees?

You do. The Apple and Google developer accounts are opened in your company's name, so the listing belongs to you; check current fees on the stores' own pages. Publishing an existing app starts from €690, and maintenance and updates from €290 a month.

Which 3D software do you use?

Blender, for modelling, materials, lighting, rendering and animation. Every project includes the .blend source file, plus the formats you need: PNG or JPG renders, GLB or USDZ for web and AR viewers, and STL or 3MF for 3D printing.

What do you need to start a 3D model?

Photos from several angles, measurements in millimetres and the materials and finishes. A sketch or CAD file speeds things up. A product model starts from €290 and renders from €90 per image; the 3D brief form takes up to three reference files of 5 MB each.

Can you prepare files for 3D printing?

Yes. I check wall thickness, close holes, fix normals and orient parts for your printer or print service, then export STL or 3MF. Print file preparation starts from €120, and the source file comes with it so later changes are easy.

Accessibility

3 answers
Does the European Accessibility Act apply to me?

It may, if you sell products or services to consumers online in the EU. It has applied since 28 June 2025; microenterprises providing services, with fewer than 10 staff and turnover or balance sheet up to €2 million, are exempt. Check your own obligations. An EAA check starts from €490.

European Accessibility Act for online stores

What is the difference between your audits?

A quick audit (from €490) checks key templates against WCAG 2.2 AA with automated tools and manual spot checks. A manual audit (from €890) adds keyboard and screen-reader testing of whole user journeys; a full audit from €1,200. Each ends with a written, prioritised list of issues.

Website accessibility audit (WCAG 2.2)

Can you fix the issues too?

Yes, at €95 an hour against the audit list, highest-impact issues first, with a re-test of what was fixed. I do not issue certificates or promise legal compliance; the result is a site that works for more people, documented in an accessibility statement.

Custom software and POS

3 answers
Do you build custom software?

Yes, when off-the-shelf tools do not fit: internal tools, booking or order systems, customer portals and web apps built around one workflow. Each project starts with a written fixed-price scope; changes after that are change requests at €95 an hour, agreed in writing first. You own the code once paid.

Can you build a point-of-sale (POS) system?

Yes: a till for a shop, café or service business, connected to your online stock and your card terminal provider. Finland has no certified cash-register requirement; check Vero.fi for the current rules on sales records and receipts, and confirm your obligations with your accountant.

POS and cash register software

Can you connect my systems together?

Yes. I connect stores, booking tools, accounting software, CRMs and payment providers through their APIs or webhooks, so orders, stock and invoices move without retyping. Each integration is a fixed price with error handling and logging, and you own the code and the API keys.
