Hosting that is tuned by the person who built your site

Your site or store on a server configured for its platform, with backups, monitoring and updates included, and one contact for hosting and development. Owner to confirm that this service launches, and the plans.

Owner to confirm availability

This page describes a planned service. It goes live only after Nusrat confirms the launch, the plans, the prices and the data centre. Until then, ask and you get an honest answer about whether it is open.

No public price yet. Plans are listed as [owner sets] until launch. Written answer within one working day.

Pick a platform and a traffic band on the left: the rack lights the layers that would run your site.

What managed hosting would include

One server set up for one kind of application, and one person answering for both the code and the machine underneath it.

A stack per platform

LiteSpeed and LSCache for WordPress and WooCommerce, Nginx, Varnish and OpenSearch for Magento, Nginx, Redis queues and Supervisor for Laravel.

Off-site backups

Files and databases copied to separate storage every night, with a restore tested onto staging, not just a green tick.

Monitoring

Uptime, SSL expiry, disk, memory and PHP errors watched, with alerts to me during Finnish working hours.

Updates, staging first

Operating system, PHP and platform updates tried on a staging copy before they reach the live site.

Security basics

SSH keys only, a firewall, brute-force blocking on logins and a weekly malware scan.

One contact

No ticket ping-pong between a host and a developer: the person who reads the server logs can also fix the template.

Every item above is part of the planned service and is owner to confirm before launch, including backup retention and alert hours.

Ask about managed hosting

Leave any time, with everything

Hosting should be easy to leave, or it is a trap with a monthly fee. This is how a site is handed back.

  • 01You own the domain, the data and the code from day one. The domain stays registered in your name.
  • 02No exit fee and no export charge. The notice period is in the plan terms owner to confirm
  • 03A full export and a handover note, ready for your next host or developer, even if that is a competitor.

What is in the box

  • example-fi_files_2026-10-09.tar.gz

Every file of the site, permissions kept.

  • example-fi_db_2026-10-09.sql.gz

A consistent database dump made with --single-transaction, so no table is half-written.

  • wp-config.php

Handed over separately; payment provider keys stay in your provider account, never in the export.

  • example.fi.zone

Your DNS records as a standard zone file, if DNS was hosted here.

  • mail_example-fi.tar.gz

Mailboxes in Maildir format, if mail was hosted here, or synced straight to the new provider over IMAP.

  • handover.pdf

The stack and versions, cron jobs, cache rules, PHP settings and what to change first on the new host.

  1. 1

    Ask

One email is enough. No retention call, no form to find.

  2. 2

    Export

Files, a consistent database dump, mail and DNS records, packed and checksummed.

  3. 3

    Hand over

The note explains the stack, cron jobs and cache rules. I can help the new host restore it.

  4. 4

    Delete

Once you confirm the move, your data is deleted, my access is removed and you get that in writing.

The box follows your platform choice in the stack picker above. Moving the other way, onto this hosting, is covered on the server migration page.

Plan bands

Five bands by platform and traffic. Prices are not set yet; each band will carry a monthly price in euros, excluding VAT 25.5%, once the owner confirms the service.

Sizing is an example to show the thinking, not an offer. Real sizing follows a look at your traffic, catalogue and plugins. The highlighted row follows the stack picker.

Moving in

Your current site keeps running until the new server has passed every check.

  1. 1

    Look

Read-only access to the current host: PHP version, plugins or modules, database size, cron jobs and traffic.

  2. 2

    Build

A server configured for your platform, with caching, backups and monitoring switched on before any data arrives.

  3. 3

    Test

Your site copied over and checked through a hosts-file entry, so you can click through it before DNS changes.

  4. 4

    Switch

DNS moved at a quiet hour, the site watched closely, and the old host cancelled by you after a week.

When I would not recommend this

Hosting with one named person is a good fit for some sites and the wrong one for others.

  • 01Your store runs on Shopify or another hosted platform. There is no server for you to rent; the platform runs it.
  • 02You need a team on call around the clock with contractual response times. One person cannot honestly offer that; a host with an operations team fits better.
  • 03You like your host and only need someone to look after the server or the site. A server care plan or a website care plan does that without a move.

Questions about managed hosting

Which platforms can you host?

WordPress, WooCommerce, Magento 2 and Laravel, plus custom PHP applications that run on a standard Linux stack with MySQL or MariaDB. Each gets its own tuned configuration rather than one shared template. Node.js or Python applications are possible case by case; ask, and I will tell you honestly whether it fits.

Where are the servers located?

In the European Union, at a data centre named in your written quote. The exact provider and country are still to be confirmed by the owner before launch. EU servers keep data inside the GDPR area by default, but check your own obligations. If you need servers in Finland specifically, say so when you ask.

Can I move away whenever I want?

Yes. There is no lock-in: you ask, and you get a full export of files, databases, mail and DNS records, plus a handover note describing the setup. You own your domain and your data throughout. The notice period and export time are in the plan terms, which the owner confirms before launch.

Ask about managed hosting

Tell me the site, the platform and roughly how busy it is. You get a written answer within one working day, including whether the service is open yet.
